Roklany - Roklan and Roklanec

These two forested mountains (1452 and 1401 m) stand out conspiciously above the line of the border Šumava ridge south-west of Modrava. They can be seen particulary well from the summit of mountain Sokol and from Filipova Huť. On the east slope of mountain Roklan there is a lake Roklanské jezero. It lies at the height of 1055 m. It covers and area of 3,4 ha and its depth is 13,5 metres. It is of glacial origin.
